Analyse a spare specimen
Use the Analysis Room to dismantle an ordinary exhibit. Choose a duplicate or a lower-quality specimen you can afford to lose, complete the analysis, then check that the exhibit type’s Knowledge has increased.
Analysis permanently destroys that specimen. Do not send your only important display piece expecting it to return upgraded.
Understand what is shared
Knowledge is shared by specimens of the same exhibit type and across museums in that game. Keeping a high-quality display specimen while analysing duplicates is therefore a sensible approach.
Once a type reaches its Knowledge cap, further analysis will not raise it. Enlightenment is a separate theme-level measure; Survey Level and a guest’s learned Knowledge are also different values.
Help guests gain Knowledge
Guests need Info Stand coverage and an opportunity to read. If an exhibit has high Knowledge but guests learn little, inspect those conditions before adding decoration or more signs. The number of signs alone does not upgrade the exhibit’s Knowledge.
Interactive Displays have their own direct teaching methods. Living Zooseum animals use a different route: see animal Knowledge instead of putting them through ordinary exhibit analysis.
