Unlock Animal Analysis in Zooseum
Living Zooseum animals do not use ordinary exhibit destruction in the Analysis Room to gain Knowledge. Progress through Silverbottom Park’s second-star tutorial to unlock Animal Analysis training.
Train a suitable Expert, then have that qualified employee perform treatment or a Spa service in Wildlife Welfare. Spa equipment appears later in the teaching sequence; check objective progress if its option is still absent.
Check who performs the service
Use job assignments to make a qualified Animal Analysis employee responsible for Wildlife Welfare. An untrained employee taking the task first can prevent the expected Knowledge gain.
The checked PC account identifies the qualified performer as essential. A developer explanation also describes both sick-animal treatment and Spa services as routes to Knowledge.
When Knowledge does not increase
Check the performer, whether the equipment suits the animal and whether that species has reached its Knowledge cap. Then test with an individual that has not already received that Spa service.
In a PS5 7.3 report, a developer explained that repeatedly giving the same individual Spa treatment does not repeatedly grant Knowledge. Whether the same repeat-service limit applies to later PC versions has not been tested here; do not assume waiting for a buff to expire enables unlimited farming.
Other reports describe no gain even with qualified staff and an animal that has not received that Spa service before. These checks are not a guaranteed repair for every save. If the problem persists, retain the build, animal identity and before-and-after values rather than assuming the defect has been fixed.
