Two Point Museum Expeditions: Teams, Cargo and Risk

The short answer

Check the POI, helipad, helicopter and previous crate first. Meet each role, headcount, Rank and qualification requirement, then match your team and Cargo to individual events while leaving essential museum jobs covered.

PC guidance based on reviewed sources. Their game versions are unspecified; follow the requirements shown in your game.

Before selecting the team

Confirm the POI is unlocked, the helipad is free, the helicopter is repaired and the previous expedition’s crate has been opened. You cannot send two teams to the same POI simultaneously.

Read each departure requirement: role, headcount, Rank and qualifications. Rank and qualification level are different requirements; matching the expert’s theme alone is not enough.

Match counters to individual events

Inspect possible events, then select qualifications and Cargo that counter the relevant MIA, injury or quality-loss conditions.

For example, Numb Drop needs two Marine Life Experts. Survey Skills and Fish Whispering are associated with its MIA counters; Plant Camouflage addresses a delay event. One cargo item does not eliminate every risk at every POI. Know which events your chosen team is leaving uncountered.

Choose a mode for your objective

Speed, survey progress and exhibit quality involve different trade-offs. Detailed is not a guaranteed Pristine drop, and Safe is not a guarantee that nobody will be injured.

Keep enough staff at home for admissions, maintenance and security. On return, inspect injuries, helicopter condition and the recovered exhibits before immediately launching another trip.

Exact Survey gains and drop probabilities are not fixed by this guide; use the panel for your build when an objective depends on them.
